Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a Burger King Restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and Train Staff
- Direct, control, and coordinate subordinates to deliver quality products to our guests in the most efficient and friendly way possible.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that the restaurant is always stocked with the necessary supplies.
- Monitor and control inventory costs to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Bank Deposits and Cash Handling
- Manage cash handling procedures to ensure accurate and efficient processing of transactions.
- Perform bank deposits and reconcile cash handling discrepancies.
- Performance Appraisals and Employee Development
- Conduct regular performance appraisals to evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Develop and implement employee development plans to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a Safe Work Environment
- Ensure that the restaurant is maintained in a clean and safe condition, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management or a related field.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work a 50-hour work week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in point-of-sale systems.
- Valid driver's license and personal transportation.
