Position Summary

The Installation Project Manager will oversee the deployment of United Imaging's state-of-the-art medical devices at client locations. This role requires the successful candidate to implement new methodologies while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective product installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all site planning activities from pre-sales support and site assessment to installation and customer acceptance of diagnostic imaging systems (MR, CT, PET-CT, DR, etc.).
  • Develop scalable processes, procedures, and planning templates to enhance site planning and installation efficiency amid rapid growth.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on pre-installation requirements, including facility layout and design considerations.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including customers, engineering teams, contractors, and local authorities, to ensure successful installations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to confirm readiness for installation.
  • Guide the creation of engineering layouts for facility design.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project schedule for each installation, keeping all relevant parties informed of progress.
  • Offer feedback to the engineering team for product enhancements related to installation.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (defined as a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of progressive experience in a technical or project management role).

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in layout design and installation of capital medical equipment, with a strong preference for experience in MR and CT systems.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Solidworks, Adobe, and MS Office applications.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% within the Midwest region.
  • Basic understanding of technical site and equipment requirements (HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental) and the ability to read site-specific floor plans and specifications.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working in environments with magnetic fields and radiation.
  • Creative and flexible approach to technical problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse team, including physicists, scientists, engineers, and executives.
