Position Summary:

The Installation Manager will oversee the installation operations for various imaging systems, ensuring that all projects are executed with precision, within established timelines, and uphold the utmost quality standards. This role is crucial in refining our installation methodologies and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously enhance site plans and installation documentation for internal teams and partners.
  • Ensure timely submission of After Action Reports (AARs) for all installations and actively engage in the review process.
  • Develop and implement UIH's installation strategy, including new product installations.
  • Advise on engineering and product modifications to optimize installation quality and efficiency.
  • Create and deliver training programs for both internal and external personnel on installation best practices.
  • Revise and improve installation templates for both existing and new products.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to enhance installation quality and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor team members on proper installation techniques and processes.
  • Coordinate with Project Management and Procurement regarding third-party installation contractors.
  • Work alongside Regional Service Managers to allocate appropriate resources for installations.
  • Evaluate tools and anchoring methods used in installations, suggesting improvements as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with seismic qualifications for all systems and third-party components.
  • Drive innovative installation processes in collaboration with Project Management.
  • Monitor installation expenses and identify areas for cost improvement without compromising quality.
  • Participate in on-site installations, system calibrations, and equipment start-ups.
  • Establish and refine standardized installation timelines for various products to enhance efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the mechanical installation and calibration of medical imaging equipment across multiple modalities (MRI, CT, PET-CT, X-ray).
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business conditions.
  • Strong focus on customer service and business objectives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, potentially up to 60% of the time.
  • Must reside within a reasonable distance from a major airport hub.
