Position Summary:

The Installation Project Manager will oversee the deployment of United Imaging's cutting-edge medical devices at client locations. This role requires the successful candidate to implement new methodologies while ensuring exceptional service during product installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of site planning from pre-sales support to customer acceptance of diagnostic imaging equipment (including MR, CT, PET-CT, DR, etc.).
  • Develop scalable processes and documentation to enhance efficiency in site planning and installation as the company grows.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on pre-installation needs, including room design and layout.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to guarantee successful installations and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct site visits to assess readiness for installation.
  • Oversee the creation of engineering drawings for facility layout.
  • Establish and maintain detailed project schedules, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress.
  • Offer constructive feedback to the engineering team for product enhancements related to installation.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (defined as a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of progressive experience in a technical or project management role).

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in layout design and installation of capital medical equipment, with a strong preference for experience in MR and CT.

Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Solidworks, Adobe, and MS Office applications.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% within the Midwest region.
  • Understanding of technical site requirements (HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental) and ability to interpret site-specific plans and specifications.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working in environments with magnetic fields and radiation.
  • Creative and adaptable problem solver, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
