Job Summary

ADEPT Talent Solutions seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Generalist to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely payments. This part-time role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

About the Position

This role involves working closely with departments across the region, requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will have experience with integrating IT systems, managing financial transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable laws
  • Process payables in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage local union dues and UBC per capita payments
  • Verify and reconcile expense reports
  • Assist with audit requirements, bond report submissions, and LM report reporting

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school degree required; associate degree preferred
  • Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification preferred
  • 4+ years' experience in A/P, payroll, general ledger activities
  • Experience with integrating IT systems to improve accounting productivity and accuracy

Bonus Information

This position requires occasional travel by car or plane, including overnight stays within the six-state area. Employee must meet TSA requirements to fly and be insurable to drive a company vehicle or rental cars.
