LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a non-profit organization to fill a temporary-to-hire Accountant position in north Kent, WA.

Company Overview

The team is seeking an experienced professional who can provide support with accounting tasks and contribute to the organization's mission. A bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience is required.

Salary Details

The estimated hourly rate for this position is between $32.00 and $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Description

This hybrid role will involve processing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and processing grant funds and invoicing. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process financial transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Reconcile balance sheets and ensure account accuracy
  • Maintain the general ledger and support month-end close processes
  • Process grant funds and prepare invoices as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
  • At least two years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
