Job Title: Group Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Sales Manager to join our team at the Doubletree by Hilton Omaha Downtown. As a Group Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our hotel's financial goals through selling guestrooms, catering services, and banquet facilities to maximize total rooms revenues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business through sales efforts that include in-person sales calls, telephone/internet prospecting, building client relationships, referral business, and networking.
  • Ensure that predetermined sales expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Establish a client base for specific market segments to include corporations, associations, and social groups in order to secure business for the hotel.
  • Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, food and beverage minimums, and hotel services within approved booking guidelines.
  • Conduct site inspection tours of the hotel and banquet facilities; entertain qualified potential clients in accordance with company and property policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Hilton brand experience a plus.
  • One or more years of experience in Hotel Group Sales.
  • Strong sales abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills, and guest-centric management practices.
  • Possesses software knowledge (Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Delphi FDC sales system knowledge is a plus.
