The Customer Service Representative - Lab is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide telephone-based customer service to patients and healthcare providers
  • Document communications with clients and maintain accurate records
  • Handle specimen transportation and accessioning into the data management system
  • Provide prices and place lab orders as needed
  • Maintain courier vehicles and dispatch couriers to clients
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Depending on assigned area, MA-P license may be required
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a laboratory setting or providing customer service support
