About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our station team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process ticket sales, refunds, and exchanges, as well as handle baggage and luggage for passengers.
  • Operate ticketing machines, including Quik-Trak and Arrow, and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Assist passengers with special needs, such as those with disabilities or mobility issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other station staff to ensure a smooth and efficient passenger experience.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull baggage carts as needed.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficient in the use of Amtrak's ticketing systems and equipment.
