Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Storage Customer Service Representative to join our team at U-Haul. As a key member of our storage operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless storage experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Operations Support: Assist the site manager with daily facility operations, including ensuring a clean and secure environment for customers.
  • Customer Service: Respond to phone inquiries from active and prospective customers, providing accurate information and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Storage Unit Management: Show storage units to customers, explain rental agreements, and prepare contracts.
  • Property Maintenance: Perform routine property cleanup and minor repair work to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and education through U-Haul University to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and company policies.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Availability: Be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Work Environment

The work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. May be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
