This role involves submitting financial data to stakeholders, conducting expense analysis, and providing trend reports to the General Manager, alongside a monthly review of financial performance. The Office Manager will ensure adequate staffing levels and manage schedules to maintain operational efficiency. You will oversee the accounting office and handle various administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and submission of financial statements
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations and manage incentive collections
  • Review daily documentation
  • Train office personnel and enforce compliance within the accounting department
  • Support expense management initiatives
  • Assist with audits conducted by floorplan auditors
  • Perform financial reconciliations for floor plans
  • Collaborate with year-end auditors
  • Conduct monthly physical inventory and manage used car write-downs
  • Prepare and submit sales tax returns
  • Input statistical data accurately
  • Ensure accurate people counts for financial reporting
  • Post end-of-month workbooks and mid-month chargeback reports
  • Finalize unit counts on a monthly basis
  • Participate in meetings and schedule cleaning services
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with team members
  • Familiarity with operational processes in the automotive sector
  • Strong customer service and communication skills are essential
  • Flexibility to adapt to the business's scheduling needs
  • Capability to manage and enforce established policies
  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory
  • Experience in the automotive industry is required
