APP Manager for Transplant Medicine

Stanford Health Care is seeking an experienced APP Manager to lead our Solid Organ Transplant program. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the management of advanced practice providers (APPs) and play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruit and hire experienced APPs to join the Solid Organ Transplant program
- Oversee the onboarding process for new APPs, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles
- Manage APP schedules to ensure adequate coverage for inpatient and outpatient care
- Collaborate with program managers to identify areas for improvement and implement quality improvement strategies
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to APPs
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment to promote employee engagement and retention
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current and active license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an APP in a transplant program
- Previous management or leadership experience is preferred
