Job Title: Hardware Technician

Location: Redmond, WA

Pay Range: $37/hr. - $40/hr.

Duration: 6 – 18 Months

Overview

Experis is seeking a skilled Hardware Technician to join their team. As a Hardware Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Department, supporting teams working on prototyping and fabrication. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in prototyping and 3D printing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prototyping mechanical systems and hardware.
  • Building PCB and electronic component assemblies.
  • Fabricating projects using 3D printing/additive manufacturing technologies.
  • Utilizing CAD software to create and modify designs.
  • Troubleshooting electrical systems and performing repairs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with 3D printing and prototyping.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with basic coding (Linux).
  • Strong understanding of electronics prototyping and model fabrication.
  • Ability to manage lab inventory and equipment maintenance.
