Hardware Technician

Pay Range: $37/hr. - $40/hr.
Duration: 6 – 18 Months
OverviewExperis is seeking a skilled Hardware Technician to join their team. As a Hardware Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Department, supporting teams working on prototyping and fabrication. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in prototyping and 3D printing.
Key Responsibilities- Prototyping mechanical systems and hardware.
- Building PCB and electronic component assemblies.
- Fabricating projects using 3D printing/additive manufacturing technologies.
- Utilizing CAD software to create and modify designs.
- Troubleshooting electrical systems and performing repairs.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with 3D printing and prototyping.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with basic coding (Linux).
- Strong understanding of electronics prototyping and model fabrication.
- Ability to manage lab inventory and equipment maintenance.
