Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Logistics Systems Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating a swift and effective loading process by utilizing STORIS to manage inventory transitions as required. This position is also responsible for generating daily reports that are forwarded to delivery managers for monitoring and coaching purposes. Throughout the day, the Logistics Systems Coordinator actively oversees delivery vehicles to promptly address any delivery-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input driver and helper names into DispatchTrack for routes managed by company employees and contractors, including truck numbers for each route.
  • Adjust delivery routes and modify schedules in DispatchTrack as needed.
  • Create and manage overflow trucks in DispatchTrack when necessary.
  • Oversee all DOT-related requirements, including liaising with third-party monitoring services regarding file renewals, medical card updates, driver application completions, and annual reviews.
  • Monitor the 'Home Damage' report and reach out to customers to achieve immediate resolutions through compensation or service offers.
  • Research and validate all orders related to the 'Not Home' report sent to store leadership to minimize multiple delivery attempts.
  • Follow up on all undelivered items and orders from the previous day using DispatchTrack, contacting customers to reschedule or coordinating with stores for resolution within 24 hours for incorrectly written or canceled orders.
  • Review assigned trucks from previous deliveries in DispatchTrack to ensure signatures and photographs are collected, sending daily compliance emails to delivery managers.
  • Load new items during the loading process that require re-picking due to damage.
  • Address customer emails directed to delivery support.
  • Notify stores, representatives, and customer experience teams of order discrepancies and advise on necessary corrections.
  • Correct any delivery day orders with incorrect addresses to prevent rescheduling.
  • Prepare orders and disassemble kits during the loading process.
  • Engage with customers via Podium throughout the day, resolving issues related to orders, including incorrect addresses, rescheduling needs, and unfavorable time frames.
  • Contact drivers regarding leftover products in their bays that should be dispatched for delivery.

Supervisory Duties:

This role does not entail supervisory responsibilities but provides guidance to drivers and helpers to enhance operational efficiencies.

Work Environment:

This position operates within a warehouse and dock setting, where temperatures fluctuate seasonally, and the area is not well insulated due to open dock doors during loading activities. Office space may be available as needed.

Physical Requirements:

The employee primarily works at a desk performing computer tasks, with occasional walking required throughout the warehouse. Lifting or moving products may be necessary for proper tagging of merchandise. Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Proficient computer skills with prior experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Position Type/Expected Work Hours:

This is a full-time role, with the first shift commencing at 6:00 AM and concluding at 2:00 PM.
