Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Systems Supervisor to lead our day-to-day credit union information systems operations and contribute to the development and execution of our IS strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain core-processing operations, third-party processes, network operations, data, and telecommunications systems.
  • Ensure all credit union hardware and software systems are properly maintained, including computer room servers, communications equipment, end-user computers, and related software.
  • Assist in developing the infrastructure and operations strategy and roadmap.
  • Work with internal and external partners on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery operations.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the IS department, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external audit functions as required.
  • Plan, monitor, and appraise job performance, providing coaching, counseling, and corrective action as needed.
  • Coordinate training for IS personnel to ensure a competent, motivated, and well-developed staff.
  • Maintain organization effectiveness and efficiency by staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulations.
Requirements
  • At least five to eight years of similar or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or formal certifications recognized in the industry.
  • Network and/or security certifications preferred.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of networking, firewalls, IPS/IDS, LAN/WAN/WLAN preferred.
  • Knowledge and competency in credit union core systems, Correlation/Keystone preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Jaspersoft.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Proactive thinking, drive technological innovation.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Dependable, punctual, and regular attendance.
  • Willingness to learn new processes to grow.
  • Demonstrated experience with platform and systems engineering in a public cloud environment, preferably Microsoft O365.
  • Knowledge of AWS/Azure, MVi Laserfiche, and SMA Technologies/OpCon experience is a plus.
  • Experience with developing strategies for Disaster Recovery and continuity preferred.
  • Requires analytical interpretation and flexible thinking, able to move between big picture and being detail-oriented.
