Job ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Nursing Supervisor will:
- Oversee daily clinical nursing operations to meet hospital standards and requirements.
- Be accountable for the planning and assessment of nursing staff activities and schedules to ensure continuous coverage.
- Act as the managerial and clinical liaison between the Nurse Manager and/or Department Director during their absence and the administrator on call.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Advocate for patients and their families by fostering meaningful relationships through safety interventions, emotional support, and education.
What you will bring:
- A strong passion for Nursing Leadership.
- A minimum of 3 years of acute care clinical RN experience.
- Previous experience in house-wide Nursing Supervision; critical care or emergency nursing experience is preferred.
- 2-5 years of leadership or healthcare management experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with hospital and nursing policies, regulatory agency requirements, and the establishment of staffing patterns and schedules.
- Ability to manage stressful situations and apply professional judgment in resolving administrative and operational challenges.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required.
- Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
USD - USD /Hr.
