Key Responsibilities

The role of a Casino Security Officer includes, but is not limited to:

  • Delivering outstanding service and fostering relationships with patrons, being the first point of contact upon their arrival and expressing gratitude as they depart.
  • Being prepared to respond efficiently to any incidents on the premises, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Conducting regular patrols of the property to safeguard assets and ensure a secure environment.
  • Assisting gaming operations with chip fills, following all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Documenting incidents thoroughly and composing detailed reports.
  • Managing emergencies in accordance with established safety protocols.
  • Participating in escort duties for team members and customers as required.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in and around facilities, including restrooms.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred background in military or law enforcement.
  • 2-3 years of relevant security experience.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid and/or EMT is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a Washington State Gaming License.
  • A commitment to fostering respect, dignity, and integrity among all team members.
  • Strong reading and comprehension skills for all documentation.
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of staff and guests.
