Position: District School Security Officer
Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively patrols the campus to address behavioral and social issues among students.
  • Conducts regular inspections of school facilities, including buildings and parking areas, utilizing surveillance systems and alarm technologies.
  • Provides guidance to students to enhance their experience within the educational setting.
  • Manages security operations for events, ensuring crowd and vehicle safety.
  • Collaborates with law enforcement during incidents of criminal activity.
  • Keeps accurate records, including police reports and activity logs.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Background in Law Enforcement or Military service.
  • Genuine interest in the security sector.
  • Ability to fulfill physical job demands.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (Word and Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and writing capabilities.
  • Must obtain security licenses for WA and OR.
  • Possession of a valid DRIVER'S LICENSE.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
  • Commitment to confidentiality.
  • Provision of three professional references.
  • Starting wage: $19-22 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is advantageous.
