A Cleaning Services Team Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing all cleaning operations. This role involves overseeing various projects and supervising the daily activities of cleaning personnel to ensure adherence to Office Pride Standards. The coordinator will also handle administrative responsibilities, including the submission of nightly reports and mileage documentation. Acting as a mentor and motivator, the team coordinator guides cleaning staff in understanding and upholding the values of our expanding organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise the cleaning of assigned facilities on a nightly or regular basis.
  • Train and assist new staff members.
  • Ensure new hires are instructed on how to operate security systems and report any discrepancies in nightly reports.
  • Educate new employees on the timekeeping system and address any issues with the office.
  • Provide additional training and feedback to staff as needed based on nightly reports.
  • Submit daily reports to the office by 1:00 PM for the previous night/day, including employee issues, supply shortages, and account problems.
  • Cross-train staff to ensure coverage in various buildings as required.
  • Verify that facilities are equipped with necessary supplies and functioning equipment, reporting any issues to the office.
  • Ensure compliance with Office Pride policies and procedures.
  • Monitor employee attire to ensure it meets company standards.
  • Enforce safety and security protocols at all times.
  • Promptly report any safety concerns.
  • Address customer complaints in coordination with the office.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Previous experience in janitorial services is required.
  • Ability to multitask, reliability, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Must thrive in a dynamic environment where changes can occur unexpectedly.
  • Ability to maintain open communication with leadership, clients, and team members.
  • Education and work history that reflect a strong work ethic and accountability.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are crucial.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Physical capability to remain on feet throughout the shift, involving walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation is necessary.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
