A Cleaning Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing and executing all cleaning activities. The supervisor will also handle administrative responsibilities such as submitting nightly reports and mileage documentation. Acting as a motivator, supervisor, and mentor, it is the supervisor's duty to guide cleaning staff in understanding and upholding the values of our expanding organization. This position offers opportunities for advancement, welcomes veterans, and is an excellent fit for students looking to manage tuition expenses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise the cleaning of assigned facilities on a nightly or regular basis.
- Train and support new team members.
- Ensure new employees are instructed on how to properly alarm and disarm the building, and to report any alarm issues in the nightly report.
- Educate new hires on the timekeeping system and address any issues with the office.
- Provide re-training and constructive feedback to employees as needed based on nightly reports.
- Submit daily reports to the office by 1:00 PM for the previous day/night, detailing employee issues, supply shortages, and any account or alarm problems.
- Cross-train employees to ensure coverage across various buildings when necessary.
- Verify that facilities are equipped with functional tools and sufficient supplies, reporting any issues or shortages to the office.
- Ensure compliance with Office Pride policies and procedures.
- Monitor that appropriate attire is worn by Office Pride staff.
- Enforce safety and security protocols at all times.
- Promptly report any situations that may pose a safety risk.
- Address customer complaints in coordination with the office.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Previous experience in janitorial services is required.
- Ability to multitask, dependability, excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude are essential.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with minimal notice for changes.
- Must maintain open communication with leadership, clients, and team members.
- Education and work history that reflect a strong work ethic and responsibility.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are necessary.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Physically capable of remaining on feet throughout the shift, including walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
