Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the finance team to achieve excellence in accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, tax, financial and compliance reporting, forecasting, costing files, and inventory management.
  • Implement, communicate, and interpret accounting and financial policies, control and system improvements.
  • Supervise external and internal audit processes and ensure proper internal controls are maintained.
  • Provide analytical support to other departments as it relates to accounting issues and drive continuous cost improvements across all aspects of the business.
  • Lead the training and development of finance department teammates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or direct related work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Leadership/supervisory experience.
