Key Responsibilities:- Primary contact with customers and sales representatives regarding order acceptance, production dates, quantities, products, shipments, and pricing.
- Manage assigned accounts, building relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Conduct customer visits and dedicated calls to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain customer profiles to document knowledge of customer expectations and delivery commitments.
- Process item setup, substitutions, returns, and credits, as well as assist customers with billing, shipping, and product inquiries.
- Work with the plant scheduler to provide customers with a schedule that meets their needs and ensures timely receipt of materials and approvals.
- Communicate effectively with customers, using excellent communication skills to resolve issues and build trust.
- Participate in customer onboarding processes, highlighting critical components, customer concerns, and expectations.
- Communicate Volatile Organic Compound notifications and pricing changes to customers.
- Achieve and maintain in-depth knowledge of product uses and functions.
- Provide proactive and consultative customer service that aligns with our company strategy.
- Assist with special projects, including allocations, pricing increases, and reporting.
- Focus on order management and accurate customer master data.
- Drive customer adoption of our portal.
- Minimum of 2 years' customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Dynamics, Outlook, and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to adapt and succeed in a changing environment.
