Customer Service Representative (Insurance, Bilingual)

We are a dynamic and award-winning State Farm agency, serving the Katy and Greater Houston area. With 15 years of experience in the community, we are expanding our team and seeking a highly skilled Bilingual (Spanish/English) Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our in-office team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, answering phone calls with a smile and addressing their insurance needs.
  • Take thorough messages and execute tasks or delegate them to the proper team, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Make changes to existing policies using proprietary internet-based software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Gather accurate information to enable our sales team to quote and provide personalized solutions.
  • Hold annual policy reviews with clients, explaining coverages and ensuring they understand their insurance needs.
  • Identify and cross-sell bundling opportunities with existing clients, driving revenue growth.
  • Process customer policy change requests and endorsements, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Handle all incoming claim calls from customers, providing empathetic and professional support.
  • Discuss billing and take payments from customers, ensuring a seamless payment experience.

Requirements:
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • A Property & Casualty Insurance license is preferred but will be obtained through training and licensing
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, and resourceful, and be coachable
  • Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking, follow-thru, and follow-up is a MUST
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual
  • Great Customer Service Skills
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
  • The selected candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education
