About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and IT team. As a strategic business partner, you will play a key role in shaping the company's financial future and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, and management to the finance and accounting team.
  • Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement strategic financial plans to support the growth of the company.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting and ensure its accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Financial Forecasting and Budgeting: Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgeting, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting.
  • Long-Term Business Planning: Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
  • Process Review: Review all formal finance, HR, and IT related procedures.
  • Fiscal Reporting: Manage and coordinate all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.
  • Tax Planning: Coordinate tax planning processes and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes.
  • Long-Range Planning: Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success reporting to owners.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and financial analysis processes. Experience with strategic and financial tax planning including the ability to apply these in a strategic and/or operational context.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence – ability to motivate staff.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Integrity: High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
