Position Summary:

Salary Range: $67,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually.

The Production Supervisor is accountable for overseeing line Team Members within their designated department(s). This role involves training, directing, and motivating Team Members to meet departmental objectives and standards related to yield, quality, productivity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the development and training of Team Members, adhering to the guidelines of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Company policies.
  • Accountable for monitoring standards and metrics necessary to manage the area of responsibility.
  • Conduct safety orientations and lead safety/general meetings.
  • Provide timely feedback to management regarding any discrepancies related to productivity, downtime, quality, yield, cost, and safety.
  • Ensure all preventative maintenance is performed on equipment within the area of control and collaborate with the immediate superintendent on suggested improvements for efficiency, profitability, and safety.
  • Test and develop techniques and processes on equipment as directed by the superintendent.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Management or equivalent experience (preferably in the agricultural sector).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • A balanced understanding of technical, mechanical, and human resource aspects.
  • Ability to evaluate Team Members fairly and objectively.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Capable of daily interaction with all support groups or departments.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
