Position Overview:

We are excited to announce an opening for a Corporate Tax Manager within our esteemed client’s organization. This role is ideal for a proactive tax expert skilled in strategic planning and risk management.

As the Corporate Tax Manager, you will be integral to our family business strategy, financial oversight, and risk assessment. Your responsibilities will include managing corporate tax initiatives, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, and directing our overall tax strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee comprehensive corporate tax planning, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Formulate and execute tax strategies aimed at minimizing the organization’s tax obligations and associated risks.
  • Supervise the preparation and evaluation of tax returns, reports, and related documentation.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analyses to uncover opportunities for tax savings and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various departments to incorporate tax strategies into broader business objectives.
  • Stay informed on changes in tax legislation, ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Advise leadership on the tax ramifications of business decisions and potential risks.
  • Lead and develop a team of tax professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors as necessary.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates on tax issues to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or CPA certification is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in corporate tax management, with a strong focus on tax planning and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly those affecting corporations.
  • Experience in estate tax planning is advantageous.
  • Strong strategic planning and business acumen.
  • Exceptional financial analysis and accounting capabilities.
  • Proven track record in risk management and estate planning within family businesses.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in tax preparation and accounting software.
