About the Role

HMSHost is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in the success of our restaurants by assisting the General Manager in executing complex operations and ensuring high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Assist the General Manager in managing the day-to-day activities of the restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and to meet the needs of the restaurant.
  • Financial Management: Assist the General Manager in managing the financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling costs.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the restaurant is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with at least 4 years of supervisory experience.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
