Psychiatric Technician

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our Behavioral Health Department at Adventist HealthCare. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and record patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to discuss patient care and develop strategies for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance patient care.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience working in an in-patient behavioral health unit preferred.
