Psychiatric Technician, Behavioral Health, Day Shift

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our Behavioral Health team at Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, MD.
Job Summary:The Psychiatric Technician will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients in our Behavioral Health unit. This role requires a strong understanding of psychiatric principles and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:- Facilitate patient-professional collaboration at all levels of healthcare.
- Monitor therapeutic treatment and recognize and value differences in the care team.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures.
- Incorporate clinical guidelines into patient care and use information technology to deliver safe and efficient care.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience with Inpatient Behavioral Health or Adolescents preferred.
Adolescent Unit, Day Shift: 0645 - 1915, 3 12hr shifts/week, rotating weekend requirement.
