Psychiatric Technician

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our Behavioral Health Department at Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, MD. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our mission to extend God's care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures.
- Monitor therapeutic treatment and recognize and value differences in the care team.
- Use information technology to deliver safe and efficient care.
- Facilitate patient-professional collaboration at all levels of healthcare.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
- Prior experience in inpatient behavioral health settings or with adolescents.
