Adventist HealthCare is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our Behavioral Health Department in Rockville, MD. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in our Adolescent Unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures.
- Monitor therapeutic treatment and recognize and value differences in the care team.
- Facilitate patient-professional collaboration at all levels of healthcare.
- Incorporate clinical guidelines into patient care and utilize information technology to deliver safe and efficient care.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
- Prior experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting or with adolescents.
