Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our Behavioral Health Department at Adventist HealthCare's Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, MD. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative treatment team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate patient-professional collaboration at all levels of healthcare.
  • Monitor therapeutic treatment and recognize the importance of a patient-centered approach.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures.
  • Utilize information technology to deliver safe and efficient care.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
  • Prior experience as an inpatient psychiatric technician or with adolescents is preferred.
Work Schedule

Adolescent Unit, Night Shift: 3 12-hour shifts/week, rotating weekend requirement.
