Located in the heart of Indianapolis, the InterContinental Indianapolis is a luxurious hotel that offers a unique blend of urban chic and timeless style. With 170 modern guestrooms and 17 luxurious suites, this hotel is the perfect destination for business and leisure travelers alike.

As a Sales Manager at IHG, you will be responsible for managing a designated market territory and identifying potential business opportunities. You will work closely with the Event Sales Manager, other Sales Managers, and Revenue Management to ensure maximum utilization of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals
  • Negotiate room nights and rates with clients
  • Close deals with signed contracts
  • Work with the Event Sales Manager to ensure maximum utilization of the facility
  • Prepare weekly sales reports and other departmental reports
Requirements:
  • Some college plus 5 years sales or marketing related experience
  • Related degree preferred
  • Prior hotel sales experience preferred
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Other languages preferred
