The Strategic Channel Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in cultivating, sustaining, and enhancing partnerships with designated channel affiliates. This position is centered on promoting Ecogy's innovative Virtual Products and Financial Solutions, both of which are software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings in the energy sector. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, this role is integral to our growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned partner organizations.
  • Coordinate the engagement of internal resources, including support and management teams, to achieve partner performance goals and expectations.
  • Achieve set targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within assigned partner accounts.
  • Continuously assess and validate partner needs to ensure alignment with company offerings.
  • Facilitate sales through partner networks to end users, collaborating closely with partner sales teams.
  • Ensure compliance with partner agreements and contractual obligations.
  • Establish and meet performance targets for channel key performance indicators (KPIs), including service volume and project timelines.
  • Define, monitor, and refine activity metrics that correlate with KPI success (e.g., training certifications, pipeline reviews).

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in selling software and financial products, particularly in the energy sector.
  • Familiarity with Data Acquisition Systems, DERMS, and related energy software.
  • Understanding of renewable energy financing structures and products.
  • Minimum of 3 years in sales, account management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with peers and senior management.
  • Dynamic interpersonal skills to build relationships with external partners and influence outcomes.
  • Ability to accurately convey and interpret information through effective communication practices.
  • Experience managing internal projects with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Composed under pressure, with the ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change, with a conceptual mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of solar energy and financing processes/products is advantageous.
