Regional Maintenance Operations Supervisor

University City Housing Company is in search of a skilled and dynamic Regional Maintenance Operations Supervisor to oversee apartment turnover processes within our designated regions.

The ideal candidate will possess the capability to manage all facets of maintenance operations effectively. The Regional Maintenance Operations Supervisor will be tasked with directing and coordinating the efforts of the Production Team while applying innovative and cost-efficient strategies to execute Make Readies.

This role requires fostering a constructive work atmosphere, inspiring and training team members, and promoting a collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring an exceptional experience for new residents during their move-in process.
  • Overseeing and coordinating the Production Team's activities.
  • Implementing regular training sessions and refreshers for team members.
  • Creating, updating, and distributing the weekly production schedule.
  • Communicating and scheduling with necessary vendors and contractors.
  • Maintaining essential records, including material usage, supplies, time, production, and other relevant reports.
  • Executing a variety of technical maintenance and repair tasks, encompassing grounds maintenance, snow removal, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, roofing, carpentry, appliance repairs, and painting.
  • Training and mentoring new maintenance personnel as required.
  • Conducting and assisting with pre-move out, move out/security deposit, pre-move in, and move in inspections.
  • Holding regular meetings with regional maintenance supervisors and property managers to discuss current and upcoming move-outs.
  • Coordinating renovation projects with the Regional Maintenance Supervisor and Regional Property Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
  • Stable and progressive work history with a minimum of 5 years' experience in property maintenance.
  • Prior management experience supervising a team.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
