The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure adherence to various customer and internal quality system standards by conducting thorough and systematic audits of processes, documentation, and products.
Key Responsibilities (additional duties may be assigned)
- Conduct comprehensive audits on production documentation to ensure compliance with established business protocols.
- Offer quality-related support concerning procedures, practices, and requirements to stakeholders including Customers, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Planning, which encompasses administrative tasks within quality management systems.
- Authorize and release products in alignment with TI QC-27 standards.
- Participate in and assist with various internal and external audits, as well as maintain relevant databases.
- Examine, audit, and comprehend the processing of established practices.
Educational Qualifications
- A two-year degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of three years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Quality systems and functional expertise,
- Decision-making related to customer specifications,
- Experience in melting, forging, or conversion manufacturing.
- Proven success and comfort in a manufacturing setting.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) necessary for daily tasks, with a willingness to learn additional software.
- Comprehensive understanding of company products, objectives, and operations.
- Familiarity with metals melting processes such as vacuum induction melting, electroslag remelting, and vacuum arc remelting is advantageous.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, including Five Whys and Risk Assessment, is a plus.
- Familiarity with Oracle, Maximo, or similar systems is beneficial.
Skills in:
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Effective interpersonal communication abilities.
Ability to:
- Communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with production and technical teams.
- Manage multiple tasks at various stages with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
- Utilize broad technical knowledge and skills to complete complex project assignments.
- Work independently and collaboratively with others to achieve desired outcomes.
