Your Responsibilities

We are in search of a passionate and flexible Assistant Educator to support a diverse group of toddlers and preschoolers (ages 3-6) within our Montessori setting.

In a Montessori classroom, Educators meticulously craft an atmosphere that ignites curiosity, promotes self-sufficiency, and offers tailored assistance. The educator provides individualized lessons to each child, fostering their development and helping them uncover the joy of learning. You will assist children in utilizing materials, encourage exploration, and build confidence in their capabilities.

We seek an individual committed to helping every child realize their full potential and flourish in a nurturing, child-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities of Guidepost Assistant Educators:

  • Closely observe children to understand and effectively address their needs.
  • Prepare an inviting, organized environment that encourages independence and focus.
  • Deliver individual and small-group lessons to enhance each child's growth.
  • Establish personal connections with each child and foster a community of collaboration and respect.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience with children aged 0-6
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-service oriented approach.
  • A willingness to learn and grow professionally.
  • A valid CPR certification or the intention to obtain certification prior to starting.
