Position: Junior Protein Formulation Scientist
Planet Pharma is in search of a Junior Protein Formulation Scientist to enhance their research team. The successful applicant will engage in the formulation of both liquid and lyophilized protein therapeutics, as well as the preparation of formulation and assay buffers, including containers and closures essential for pharmaceutical development studies.
This role offers the chance to acquire knowledge in analytical assays, protein formulation characterization techniques, and stability testing. Key responsibilities encompass data analysis, result interpretation, and documentation of significant deviations. The selected candidate will also oversee daily laboratory operations, manage inventory levels, and meticulously document scientific findings.
EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in protein biochemistry, biophysical chemistry, analytical science, pharmaceutical science, physical chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related discipline.
- 0-2 years of experience in analytical or drug formulation development within the biotech or pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
- Proficient technical skills to perform experiments in a research or development laboratory.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and report writing abilities.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
