About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Operations Supervisor to join our team at the City of New York. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of community-based health initiatives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement community outreach strategies to engage with priority populations and promote health awareness.
  • Collaborate with community stakeholders, healthcare providers, and other partners to design and deliver effective health programs.
  • Manage and supervise a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful program implementation.
  • Conduct formative research to inform program development and ensure that services meet the needs of our communities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community-based organizations and healthcare providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public health, social work, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in community-based health work, including experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
