Job Title: Public Health Nurse

Job Summary:

The Public Health Nurse will provide professional nursing care to individuals and communities, focusing on prevention, health promotion, and disease prevention. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing care to individuals and communities, including health assessments, health education, and disease prevention.
  • Develop and implement health promotion programs to improve health outcomes in our community.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Conduct health education sessions and workshops to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
  • Participate in community outreach and engagement activities to promote health and wellness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • CPR certification.
  • One year of nursing experience preferred.
