Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer plays a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes. This involves thorough planning and design aimed at maximizing operational efficiency through careful analysis of equipment layout, workflow, assembly techniques, and workforce utilization. The engineer will provide essential support to manufacturing departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct project research, justification, and implementation.
  • Perform time and efficiency studies.
  • Analyze and propose improvements to layout and workflow.
  • Review and suggest updates to production standards.
  • Research, recommend, and oversee capital equipment initiatives.
  • Investigate, recommend, and manage automation projects.
Qualifications:

Educational Background:
Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:
3 to 5 years in a complex high-mix low-volume manufacturing setting.

Essential Skills:
  • Familiarity with production environments and advanced manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficient documentation abilities.
  • Expertise in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in project management, especially in capital research and installation projects.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Visual Basics programming.
  • 2-4 years as a manufacturing engineer.
  • Knowledge of CMM programming.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems.

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $68,522.00 and $107,761.00, based on a full-time schedule. Compensation varies based on numerous non-discriminatory factors, including office location, role, qualifications, relevant skills, and experience level.
