Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer will play a pivotal role in optimizing manufacturing processes to achieve maximum efficiency. This includes analyzing equipment layouts, workflow, assembly techniques, and workforce utilization. The engineer will provide essential engineering support to various manufacturing departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research, justification, and implementation of projects.
  • Perform time and efficiency assessments.
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements for layout and workflow.
  • Review and propose updates to production standards.
  • Research, recommend, and oversee capital equipment initiatives.
  • Research, recommend, and manage automation projects.
Qualifications:

Educational Background:
A degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering is required.

Experience:
A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a complex high-mix low-volume manufacturing setting is essential.

Required Skills:
  • Understanding of production environments and advanced manufacturing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent documentation proficiency.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in project management, focusing on capital research and installation projects.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Visual Basics programming.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer.
  • Knowledge of CMM programming.
  • Experience with SAP.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this role is between $68,522.00 and $107,761.00, based on a full-time schedule. Compensation may vary based on various non-discriminatory factors.
