Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our front office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing front office duties, and ensuring seamless communication with patients and insurance companies.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and Welcome Patients: Create a positive first impression by warmly greeting patients and their families as they enter our office.
  • Front Office Management: Manage front office duties, including answering phone calls, checking office mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
  • Patient Scheduling: Utilize our dental software to schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers in the office.
  • Insurance and Billing: File patient insurance claims, follow up on outstanding claims, verify benefits, and explain coverage to patients.
  • Account Management: Post insurance and patient payments, process accounts receivables, and review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with our providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office potential.

Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; dental or medical experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to Perform Essential Duties: Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged Sitting and Computer Work: Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Lifting and Mobility: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and move around the office as needed.
