Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Medical and Specialty Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to acquire new medical and specialty business through agents/brokers.
Your primary duties will include:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to acquire new business
- Conducting agency training and assisting agents in the development of marketing plans and lead acquisition
- Maintaining frequent and effective contact with brokers to increase sales of all product lines
- Prospecting new or inactive brokers to find new sale opportunities
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of insurance sales experience
- A valid Texas life/health insurance license
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
