Position Overview:
Element Materials Technology is seeking a Testing Specialist to become a vital part of our growing team.

In this role, the Testing Specialist will engage in a range of standard and specialized testing tasks within the designated department, ensuring prompt and precise test outcomes under direct oversight.

The position requires proficiency in essential operational skills, including adherence to established safety protocols, ethical standards, and company policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Preparation - Interpret specifications from technical documentation (such as test plans and procedures), and set up necessary testing equipment.
  • Conduct Testing - Execute tests according to specifications; liaise with clients as necessary; troubleshoot issues; and meticulously document all relevant data.
  • Data Management – Validate, review, and record all relevant data post-testing; finalize results and submit to the project engineer.
  • Laboratory Upkeep/Post-test Cleanup – Safely remove test items; maintain the laboratory by cleaning equipment, ensuring calibration of instruments, and organizing supplies.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; coursework from college or vocational institutions is a plus.
Experience: 0-3 years minimum

  • Fundamental understanding of basic electrical and mechanical operations.
  • Basic familiarity with oscilloscopes and other data acquisition tools.
  • Basic knowledge of circuit design, troubleshooting techniques, safety protocols, and wiring.
  • Proficiency in using standard measurement instruments, such as temperature probes, thermocouples, pressure transducers, and accelerometers.
  • Basic competency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications.
