Position Overview: As a Manufacturing Operations Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the achievement of essential performance goals related to production, safety, quality, and cost management. This position offers the opportunity to gain practical experience both on the production floor and in an administrative environment, positioning you as a future leader in operations. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing documentation and operational procedures.
  • Track efficiencies to achieve targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with teams on Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to safety and cost-saving efforts.
  • Assist with managerial responsibilities such as timekeeping and training.
  • Execute other assigned tasks as needed.
Essential Skills:
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Technical proficiency and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies.
  • Capability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal skills conducive to effective teamwork.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and MS applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in leadership or project management roles.
  • Background in customer service.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting.
Educational Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Engineering or Business Management.
  • Preferred candidates are in their Junior or Senior year.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform tasks that involve manual handling and effective communication.
  • Occasional requirements for standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Specific vision abilities and focus adjustments may be necessary.
Work Environment:
  • Potential exposure to airborne particles and vibrations.
  • Moderate noise levels in the workplace.
