About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Associate, Mail Prep. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and categorizing incoming mail items, ensuring they are correctly labeled and addressed. You will also prepare outgoing mail items by packaging, sealing, and affixing postage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and categorize incoming mail items based on type and destination
  • Open, review, and process mail items to ensure accurate labeling and addressing
  • Prepare outgoing mail items by packaging, sealing, and affixing postage
  • Operate mail processing equipment, such as postage meters and letter folding machines
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail items
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in mail handling or a similar role is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25 pounds
