Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with attorneys on commercial real estate transactions and the formation of limited liability companies (LLCs).
- Draft and revise LLC documentation and agreements.
- Support attorneys in conducting due diligence.
- Prepare summaries and timelines for Purchase and Sale Agreements.
- Draft objections related to title and responses to those objections.
- Prepare documentation necessary for real estate closings.
- Review documentation related to real estate and loans.
- Facilitate signature conferences for closing procedures.
- Conduct thorough title and survey reviews.
- Maintain extensive communication with title agents and surveyors.
- Engage with local government entities regarding zoning regulations.
- Review closing and lender checklists, assisting attorneys in meeting closing requirements.
- Compile final documents for closing events.
- Assist in the preparation of closing transcripts.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a certificate from an accredited paralegal program is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a corporate-related role.
- Comprehensive understanding of legal principles and practices is essential.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills are required.
- Strong organizational skills are necessary.
