Job Overview

Career Personnel Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Practice Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative duties and be proficient in Microsoft Word.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex administrative tasks, including preparing and editing documents, and maintaining calendars.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings and travel, and schedule appointments.
  • Enter billable time and edit time and pre-bills.
  • Process expense reimbursements and maintain client files.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience as a legal secretary/assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department environment.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and able to type 50 wpm.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a desire to take ownership as a contributing member of the team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
