About the Role

The successful candidate will assist the Legal Services team in providing timely and constructive legal advice and support to our surgical facilities and other businesses. This is a generalist role, with a focus on corporate law, contract law, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, and healthcare laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

The 2L Legal Intern will perform legal research and writing assignments in support of various Legal Services practice areas. This will include:

  • Assisting with contract review and negotiation
  • Providing research and analysis on healthcare laws and regulations
  • Supporting the development of business strategies and initiatives
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must be based in Birmingham, AL or Pasadena, CA. A strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and healthcare laws and regulations is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and writing skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
